The thesis is devoted to development of a new scientific direction in the synthesis of new biologically active compounds of quinoline series based on the transformation of esters of 4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acids involving almost all functional groups in the chemical transformation. The antitubercular, diuretic, anti-inflammatory activity of the compounds synthesized, as well as the ability to block opioid receptors have been studied. The original compound Nalquilone – synthetic antagonists of opioid receptors of a new chemical class has been found; the project for Drug Quality Control Methods and provisional regulations for manufacturing process have been developed for it.
