Essay

The dissertation has become the first comprehensive study of Ukrainian Polish literary prose of XVII century in Ukraine and Poland as a symbiosis of both national cultures within a single subculture both of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and independent literary periods of the Baroque birth and its development on Slavic basis. The issue has been focused on the representation of genre originality of the analyzed prose texts, their thematic interference and the polemical variability as well as artistic ambivalence expressed through conceptual structures and other rhetorical tools.
