Essay

The thesis is devoted to solution of important scientific-technical problem that consists in finding of the rational parameters set of forging process with the combination of setting and fullering processes and the variation of the deformation direction by theoretical and experimental studies of the metal deformation, which gives the possibility to obtaine products made of carbon steels, titanium and special alloys with the necessary properties and saving material costs. For the calculation of the forging processes of forgings was developed the method of non-uniformity deformation determination during hot processing. The method of mechanical properties determination during hot deformation, which allows to calculate the rational modes of forging was developed. Based on the researches were developed bases of the optimal combination of setting and fullering, which allowed to propose a number of new forging ways. In this thesis work recommendations for the design of new resource-saving forging technology processes were developed. New processes of shafts and drives forging that helped to improve the quality of forgings and reduce their cost were implemented.
