Essay

The thesis contains a comprehensive study of humanistic ethical ideas of the different religious traditions. The study explicates the content, conditions and forms of their effectiveness for the interreligious relations tolerance and for the synthesis of educational and culture-constructing potencies of religious ethics and secular humanism. The dissertation introduces to the theoretical and methodological discourse the principle of humanistic synergy of ethical ideas of different religious traditions. The author proves a functionality of this principle in a globalized, post-informational society, because in that society religious notional structures penetrate to the mind of not only the confessional believers, but also the people with autonomic forms of socialization, cultural self-development, education and self-education, involvement into specific informational space. The humanistic synergy is defined as a sociocultural interaction of different religious and philosophical ideas in the process of the religious communities and believers' social communication within multicultural conditions and the necessity of social and value solidarity in this process. The humanistic synergy of ethical ideas of different religious traditions does not mean an intention or claim to neglect the confessional identity of confessional commons or denominations, but only motivates the search (at the individual, social, world-view levels) for the effective opportunities of coordination, cooperation and cultural role of ethical ideas from different traditions with accentuation on their anthropological foundation and humanistic, personality-developing influence. Such search has the important topicality in the postmodern epoch. In the thesis it is theoretically generalized the humanistic core of moral ideas of different religious traditions on the ground of philosophical ethics methodological heritage of different historical periods. The author outlines the possibilities of conceptual convergence (on the individual and cultural levels) between the philosophical and religious contexts of morality in its humanistic orientations for human communication regulating. It is proved that conceptual synthesis of, on the one hand, the philosophical and the other - religious humanistic ethical postulates has not only theoretical, but also productive practical and educational potential, because it provides guidance for conceptual and integrated vision of the religious tradition and emphasizes its mental motivators for personal and group self-development, moral enthusiasm in socially important initiatives, encourages the dialogue between the persons and communities with variant creeds and identities. The methodology of humanistic synergy of value ideas in religions creates the theoretical background for deeper understanding of correlation parameters between moral and political priorities of the religious communities or cultural and aesthetic communication of believers' communities with different identities. Also it can help for balancing of universal humanistic and religious components in the content of theological science and education. The methodology of study can be useful for more objective media informing about the religious processes, the ways to prevent the religious conflicts and enhance a social responsibility of religious communities and their leaders.
