Essay

The object of research is technogenic processes in the geological environment. The goal is to assess the degree of environmental danger that arises as a result of the cycles of technogenic transformation of the North-East of Donbass. Solved urgent scientific and practical problem of cyclicity of technogenic transformation of the geological environment in the construction process, operation and closure of coal mines. The stages of the cycle and proved the irreversibility of transformation of geological environment in man-made ecosystem due to the influence of anthropogenic processes in large-scale coal mining. Developed a system of geological research, based on the comparison of geological, geochemical, migration and other processes in undisturbed and disturbed technogenesis conditions, which allowed to separate the process of direct contamination of the geological environment and activation of permanent natural processes. Evaluated the distribution pattern and concentration of toxic and rare elements in coals and host rocks geological-industrial regions of the North-East of Donbass. Describes the Genesis and the deportment of toxic and rare elements in coals and host rocks. We have analyzed the dependence of the concentration of toxic and trace elements from the age of rocks and their metamorphism. Determined, the main elements-pollutants in soils, which form a large anomalous halos. Performed a comprehensive assessment of pollution of soils and underground hydrosphere of the study area. Regularities of influence of mining enterprises on the environment and the quality of surface and groundwater. Based on the results of the research carried out, was published a textbook for students and teachers of higher educational institutions "Ecological and geological mapping and monitoring of the geological environment".
