It is shown that in parasitic infestation generalized periodontitis occurs significantly heavier than in its absence, as evidenced by the parodontal index value, the depth parodontal pockets, the height of the recession of the gums, loss level of dento-gingival compound. Found that while there is a high content in the oral secretions of total protein, extracellular peroxidase activity, high content in parodontal pockets of cell elements and a large percentage of destroyed and damaged neutrophils and epithelial cells among them, significantly increased content of proinflammatory cytokines in blood serum, additional reducing of local and systemic immunity, infiltration of the periodontal tissue by eosinophils and lymphocytes, increase population of Th2- cells in Th- lymphocytes and imbalance of Th1/Th2, significantly reduced production of IL-2. Revealed that the leading role played by autoantibodies to the periodontal tissues and a more active performance of LP process in the development of periodontal inflammation by parasites. It was shown that periodontal indices normalized under the influence of developed therapy, normal oral cavity biocenosis was restored, local and systemic immunity, cytokine profile, lysozyme content of sIgA in the oral secretion were normalized.
