Essay

The thesis is concerned with theoretical bases of formation and development of positive law in the context of social and cultural approach to legal understanding. Current theoretical and methodic approaches to the study of positive law, main types of modern legal thinking are analyzed. The author suggests the definition of the concept of "positive law" taking diverse social and cultural foundations of social life, based on an integrated regulatory system, into account.
