Thesis is dedicated to the research of economic and legal aspects of state property management. The paper analyzes and revises the general regulations on the state property management as a legal phenomenon, investigates and concretizes the regulations on the economic and legal fundamentals of such management. The propositions on optimization of the structure of state property objects concerning which the management is fulfilled and the clarifications of the legal regime of these objects in the sphere of management are justified. The ways of improvement of system of entities of state property management and clarification of economic competence of such entities are offered. The issue of content of state property management in the sphere of management has been finalized. The conceptual fundamentals for improving the economic and legal regulation of state property management are justified and propositions concerning the introduction of appropriate changes and additions to the legislation are developed.
