The dissertation presents the results of a holistic scientific analysis of the processes of formation and development of the system of future social workers' professional training to health-caring activities in US universities. The genesis of the system of social workers vocational training for health activities in the United States of America is explored and its periodization is backed up. Axiological and theoretical foundations of health-сaring activity in social work of the USA are revealed. Importance of international and national professional organizations in forming of social workers training to health-careing activities in the United States has been established.
