The dissertation is devoted to the problem of the development of the methodological competence of the future teacher of Physics during the study of the disciplines of professional and practical training. For the first time, the concept and the model of the cross-cutting methodological competence of the future Physics teacher have been offered to implement, which begins with propaedeutic courses (school course of Physics and experimental Physics). Based on the substantiated concept, a model of studying general Physics with the use of methodical propaedeutics and a model for forming the methodical competence of the future teacher of physics is proposed. For the first time the theoretical and methodical principles of creation of educational-methodical complexes were proposed: "General Physics with the basics of methodical propaedeutics" and "Competence-oriented education: methodology of teaching Physics". For the first time the theoretical substantiation and testing of the use of cloud-oriented technologies, electronic educational resources in the study of general physics and in the cycle of methodical disciplines have been proved. For the first time the term "methodical propaedeutics" was offered and its semantic features were revealed. Further development was achieved: methodical principles of conducting lectures on Physics and methods of teaching Physics in the conditions of implementation of methodical propaedeutics and modern didactic support and Internet tools; methodical approaches to the design, development and application of didactic tools on the basis of modern specialized software applications. The pedagogical expediency and educational efficiency of the proposed system of cross-cutting methodological competence of students, which is based on the teaching of general physics on the basis of the propaedeutic approach, was experimentally tested. The materials of the dissertation can be used to further improve and develop the content of educational programs, curricula, programs of training disciplines and specialized courses for those taking up bachelor's and master's degrees in higher education. The results of the scientific search will be useful for undergraduate students, graduate students, and doctoral students during the preparation and implementation of scientific research.
