The object of the research: socio-economic cycles. The purpose of the research: the disclosure of the logico-historical basis of socio-economic cycles, which determine the peculiarities of the cyclical dynamics of socio-economic systems at various stages of the society development. The methods of the research and the equipment: the combination of historical and logical, dialectical ascent from abstract to specific that includes general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction; institutional and evolutionary approaches, systemic, comparative, economic-statistical, functional-structural analysis. The theoretical and practical results: the results of the research can be used in the research work in the field of economic theory and history of economic thought, as well as a methodological basis for the analysis of a socio-economic, political and economic situation, the development of anti-crisis measures for the regulation of the market economy. The novelty: the logical and historical basis of socio-economic cycles is disclosed as a system of contradictions between various changes in the techno-technological, socio-economic and institutional components of the reproductive dynamics that determine the peculiarities of the cyclic movement at various stages of the society development.
