Fedchenkova Y. Pharmacognostic research of plants of Betulaceae, Cucurbitаceae, Lamiаceae families and the creation of substances based on them

The thesis is devoted to a system pharmacognostic study of the plants of Betulaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Lamiaceae families, as the sources of obtaining medicinal plant raw material (PRM) and substances from it, studying the qualitative composition and content of the main groups of biologically active compounds in 278 series of raw materials and substances, standardization and determination of pharmacological properties. It was proposed algorithm for Identification A for leaves as PRM and the usage of a petlyolar anatomy for identification B. It was standardized 5 types of raw materials, 6 pharmaceutical forms and substances, drafts of monographs of SPhU "Leaves", "Mint herb", "Hezelnut leaves", "Alder leaves", projects of Methods of Qulity Control (MQC) «Squash leaves», «Cucumber leaves», «Species of «Menkoral» and MQC projects for «Cucumber tincture», «Squash leaves tincture», «Alder leaves tincture», «Menkoral» liquid extract, «Hazelnut liquid extract» were proposed. Technologies for obtaining "Menkoral" liquid extract, the hazelnut liquid extract" were tested in production conditions. Pharmacological activity (venotropic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial) of developed medical forms has been established. Novelty of developments was confirmed by the patents of Ukraine.
