The dissertation deals with the study of the pedagogical bases of the future railway engineers’ management culture, that is a component of the professionalism, the content of the concept «engineer’s management culture» has been revealed, the research program, model, pedagogical paradigms, theoretical-pedagogical concepts and methodological guidelines of the university pedagogical process have been developed and experimentally tested directed to the forming of the future engineer’s management culture under the conditions of professional training and extra-curricular work. The essence of the concept of «pedagogization» of the process of the management culture formation during the future railway engineers training, the features of higher education flexible program of the psychological and pedagogical lecturers’ training, who do not have the basic pedagogical education, working at the railway higher educational establishments has been specified. The technology of the management culture’s formation has been improved, the portrait of the modern engineer, who has a management culture, has been characterized, the pedagogical requirements for the using of the informative and communicative technologies in the management culture’s formation have been proposed. It is revealed that the managerial culture of the railway engineer is the personal status in the society, special professional behavior that has social significance and manifested in the rights, attitudes, duties, privileges, freedoms, requirements, in particular individual patterns of behavior, etc. The formation implies the development of not a single quality, but the development of professionalism, general culture, social maturity, therefore, this process is integral and continuous. It has been proved that managerial culture of the engineer concentrates all professional and personal findings that are characteristic to socially significant personality. The assumption about the organic combination of professional training and the formation of managerial culture of the future engineers has been confirmed. The integrity of the purposeful pedagogical process at higher educational establishment ensures the competitiveness of the graduates at the expense of the formation of their intelligence, sociality and professionalism, which are the main indicators of managerial culture. The theoretical and pedagogical concept of the formation of managerial culture of the future railway engineers at higher railway educational institutions is created as a system of scientific and pedagogical framework, based on the organic unity of general theoretical, pedagogical, social and cultural systems aimed at the professional training of the railway engineers. The indication of the formed managerial culture is the highest level of personal, psychological, social and professional development of the student, which reflects his or her adequate attitude to the railway industry, the assimilation of cultural, moral, professional norms and rules of conduct in the society, communication and knowledge, domination of positive motives, cultural values, contents, plans and creative potential. It has been proved by the research work that managerial culture of the railway engineer is a voluntary choice of the highest level of responsibility, including it in free and independent creative social practices, which provides the formation of socio-cultural modernization of the railway industry. Therefore, the process of forming the managerial culture of the future engineer acts as a factor in the deepening of culture of pedagogical process at the higher railway educational institutions. According to this approach, the initiating factors and the content of the internal university teachers’ training, pedagogical technology, aimed at updating of the pedagogical process, extra-curricular work focused on the determination of the managerial culture of the future engineer of the railway transport as a high alliance of intelligence, sociality and professionalism in solving of managerial problems have been offered. All this is connected with the improvement of engineering activity, which combines the qualifications in the strict sense of the word, social behavior, the ability to work in a team, and love for renewal and risk. The culture of leadership is formed by the professional renovation throughout life. The research has found out that significant positive changes in the formation of the managerial culture in extra-curricular work happen due to socialization, integration of all parts of the University impact on the updating and harmonization of professionalism, innovative development of the cultural potential, primary professional interests, acceleration of the process of adaptation to practical engineering activity through the use of managerial culture in the process of analyzing and solving the specific engineering problems.
