A special complex study of theoretical and practical problems of deals and their invalidity in the information society was carried out in this dissertation for the first time in the national science of civil law. The dissertation reveals the state of scientific developments of such categories as information society, IT sphere, deals, invalidity of the deals. The concept and essence of the information society are revealed. The influence of the information society on the understanding of deals is described. The essence of deals and the general characteristics of them in the context of the development of the information society are presented. The features of the deals in the information society are determined. The peculiarities of application of the category of deals in the context of the use of blockade technology and similar information technologies, as well as deals with smart contracts are correlated. The subject structure of deals in the information society is described. The formation and development of the concept of invalidity of deals is considered. The reasons for recognizing deals as invalid in the present conditions are determined. Classification of invalid deals has been made. The peculiarities of recognizing deals as invalid in the sphere of information technologies are revealed. The legal consequences of invalidity of deals under the current civil legislation of Ukraine are described. The correspondence of general, additional and special consequences of invalidity of deals in the information society is determined. Scientific conclusions and suggestions on improvement of legal regulation of deals and their invalidity in the information society are formulated.
