The object of research: the historiographic process, the leading directions of the origin, formation and enrichment of scientific knowledge of the working class of the Ukrainian SSR of the post-war twenties (1946-1965), the formation of the conceptual basis of the research, the main trends and patterns of development of this knowledge. The aim of the study is to ascertain the state, completeness and reliability of the study of the history of the working class of the Ukrainian SSR of the post-war twenties (1946-1965). Based on a comprehensive historiographic analysis of the work of Soviet, foreign, diaspora and modern domestic scientists, the identification of insufficiently studied aspects and the justification of recommendations for the further development of the topic. The subject of research: the aggregate of the main groups of historiographic sources on the history of the working class of the Ukrainian SSR of the post-war twenties (1946-1965). The results of research: for the first time in historical science, the state and trends of more than 70 years of studying the history of Ukrainian workers of the post-war twenties (1946-1965) are comprehensively analyzed, the work of Soviet, diaspora, modern Ukrainian and foreign historians, their theoretical and methodological tools, and terminological apparatus is analyzed, conceptual foundations and on this basis, the state, completeness and reliability of studying the history of the worker of the Ukrainian SSR of the post-war twenties (1946-1965) are clarified, the latest scholarly works of historians on the problem and from this point of view an objective reassessment of Soviet historiography has been carried out; the content of specific historical works of Western historiography, which have not yet become the object of historiographic research, has been analyzed; in addition to the historical historiographic analysis, the historical context of the work of representatives of political science, sociology, cultural studies and philosophy was partially drawn in, which greatly expanded the cognitive possibilities of studying the problem; a list of insufficiently studied and falsified aspects of the problem that requires scientific development has been established, and, thus, promising areas for further concrete historical studies of the history of the USSR worker of the postwar twenties (1946-1965) are indicated. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the History of Ukraine and Historiography.
