The dissertation has developed new scientific provisions that together allow to solve an important scientific problem in the field of public administration regarding the theoretical and methodological and scientific and practical substantiation of the mechanisms of formation and development of state management of economic security in Ukraine. The theoretical foundations of a comprehensive mechanism for providing economic security as a complex state-management and socio-economic education have been developed. The conceptual model of the updated mechanism of state management of economic security of Ukraine has been developed. The analysis of the components of economic security by indicators during the period from 2013 to 2017 has been analyzed. The potential and real threats to economic security of Ukraine have been identified. The concept and content of the system of destabilization of economic security are defined. The model of counteraction to the system of destabilization is developed. Theoretical and methodological principles of state management of economic security have been improved. The methodological principles of determining the level of economic security of Ukraine have been improved. The concept of "state management of economic security of the state" is specified. Conceptual model of the mechanism of state management of economic security has been developed. The Concept of the creation of the state service of economic security has been developed.
