The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles of state management of the development of the ecological information society in Ukraine, overcoming the inertia of the directions of mass and elite consciousness on the industrial model of state formation. The state of the ecosphere of Ukraine is analyzed. The essence and content of forecast and program documents for solving eco-techno-economic contradictions of the state development are determined. The basic provisions of the theory of the nature of the corresponding state management of human development, society and ecosystems of the country are formulated. The conceptual-categorical apparatus of the natural state management of the development of the information society has been improved. The situation of the development of optimal boundaries between processes of deindustrialization, ecoagrarisation, renaturalization, deurbanization as directions of environmental policy in the conditions of the development of the information society in Ukraine in the short and medium term is investigated. An ecologically oriented paradigm of social development and state formation at the information stage of civilization development has been developed. The theoretical approaches to the formation of mechanisms for balancing the principle of nature conformity and technical and economic feasibility in the practice of public administration are substantiated. The methodical approaches to the determination of the level of environmental compatibility in the context of the adoption of state-management decisions are determined. Applied tools for the implementation of the state ecological policy concerning the nature of the environment and the nature of man, including in the context of warfare, have been developed.
