Methodical system of teaching Stylistics for future Ukrainian language and literature teachers is developed and theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified in the thesis.
The history of the formation and development of Ukrainian language Stylistics as a science and a discipline is analyzed. The linguistic and psychological-pedagogical bases of teaching Ukrainian language Stylistics in higher education establishments are described. The stages of stylistic concepts formation and mastering of various types stylistic skills are distinguished: stylistic ones (stylistic-linguistic, stylistic-speech, stylistic-communicative), stylistic-methodical and stylistic research.
It has been proved that the development of the teaching Stylistics educational branch methodical system for future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature should correspond to personally oriented and activity-competent approaches at the present stage. The general-didactic and linguodidactic (general-methodical, specific) principles of teaching Ukrainian language Stylistics in the new educational paradigm conditions are interpreted. The essence of the basic concepts of the study «stylistic skills of future Ukrainian language and literature teachers», «stylistic competence of future Ukrainian language and literature teachers», «methodical system of teaching Stylistics», «students’ stylistic preparation», «methodical and stylistic preparation of future Ukrainian language and literature teachers», «the readiness of future Ukrainian language and literature to teach stylistics teachers». The components of stylistic competence according to psychological features (motivational, knowledge, activity, value, emotional, reflexive), content (general-stylistic and level-stylistic) and activity characteristics (linguistic, linguistic, communicative, self-educational, scientific research, methodical) are determined.
The research analyzes the organizational, methodological and methodological course supporting of Ukrainian language Stylistics. The model of teaching Ukrainian language Stylistics methodical system for future teachers of higher schools is developed and theoretically substantiated, its components are the target (social order, educational goal), methodological (teaching Stylistics approaches and principles), content, technological (forms of educational process organization, types of training sessions, teaching methods, exercises, technology and teaching aids) and diagnostic-productive (indicators and levels) blocks.
The expediency of the gradual stylistic preparation for future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature, which is realized through institutions of higher education through propaedeutic and introductory (prestylistic special linguistic preparation and post-graduate general education and special literary studies), information-cognitive (systemic special stylistic preparation and linguistic interdisciplinary auxiliary preparation) and deepening-forming stages (methodical-stylistic, deepening and research fly preparation).
The linguistic-pedagogical features of teaching Stylistics system for future teachers-linguists are revealed. The modern society’s needs in the new generation’s pedagogical workers with an innovative type of thinking have led to changes in the approaches to the organization and conduct of training sessions, the need to diversify their content and methodological content. The modernization of the Stylistics studying is disclosed through the use of modern lectures varieties, a new educational environment’s creation in practical classes and conducting laboratory classes. The methodical system implementation of teaching Stylistics was carried out with the help of an optimal combination some general teaching methods and special methods of teaching Stylistics, as well as general and special subsystems of exercises. Special exercises on the Ukrainian language Stylistics are structured according to the stages of stylistic preparation (accompanying and special), the content of the program material (general-stylistic and level-stylistic), stylistic skills (stylistic-linguistic, stylistic-linguistic and stylistic-communicative). It has been proved that interactive, information and communication, media education, problem research and teaching technologies, as well as modular and project learning technologies contribute to the effective implementation of the Stylistics methodical teaching system.
An experimental research has shown the methodological system effectiveness for teaching Stylistics of future Ukrainian language and literature teachers in higher education establishments.
