Shevchenko O. Methodology of the study of the evolution of the economic system in the world economic thought (the end of the ХІХ and the beginning of the XXI century)

In the dissertation on the basis of the civilization paradigm of social science, the evolution of the economic system through the prism of economic theories and scientific schools of world economic thought in the chronological boundaries of the end of the 19th and the beginning of the XXI century was investigated, and the concept of economic development in the conditions of modern transformation of the national economy is formulated. It is proved in the work that the essence of the changes that took place in the real process of historical development of the economic system is revealed by clarifying the definitions of scientific categories and enriching them with new content («developing concepts»). The features of the reflection of the process of the evolution of the economic system in the theoretical works of representatives of the German historical school, Neoclassicism, Keynesianism and its current trends, institutionalism, and developments of the representatives of the Ukrainian economic thought of the late 19th and early 20th centuries were revealed. The importance of theoretical and methodological achievements of the economic thought of past periods for the scientific analysis of the present is proved. The understanding of modern characteristics of the development of the national economy: the alternative and dialectical unity in the transformation process of transformation has been improved, it is proved that the alternative of development is a prerequisite for the prevention of uncertainty inherent in the functioning and evolution of economic systems. The theoretical bases for determining the state of «institutional inadequacy» of the state and the theoretical conception of economic development of Ukraine are developed.
