Essay

Diagnostic questions and methodological approaches of complex rehabilitation of patients with dentition defects with significant jaw atrophy were solved. The method of corrosion protection of subperiosteal implant with use of anodic oxide or carbon diamond-like coatings is developed, which allows to reduce the electrochemical activity of the implant by 18% and prevents possible interaction of the implant material with body tissues. The application of both oxide and carbon diamond-like coatings on the surface of subperiosteal implant increases its ability to biointegration into living tissues according to the following parameters: the amount of coarse-fibrous bone tissue between the compact mother bone and implant increases in 3 times; foci of necrosis on the surface of tissues adjacent to implant are absent; areas of bone resorption are reduced by 40 %, and density of osteocytes is increased by 50 %. The adhesion strength of bone tissue with cobalt-chromium subperiosteal implants at application on their surface of titanium coating increases by 60%, and at anodic oxidation or deposition of diamond-like carbon coating – in 2 times. The new design of honeycomb subperiosteal implant with additional endoosseous elements was proposed that allowed to increase implant fixation on the bone tissue by increasing of osseointegration zones of endoosseous part and fibrous osseointegration in honeycomb. The detection of asymptomatic general-somatic changes and disorders in the human body using the BRD method allows timely consultation with appropriate specialists for their correction at the stage before and after implantation treatment. The possibility of effective evaluation of influence of dental materials and their combinations on the human body using bioresonance diagnostics is proved. The treatment of 145 patients with partial and complete adentia in different parts of the alveolar appendixes in the upper and lower jaw by installing of 215 subperiosteal implants has been performed, that allowed to achieve positive results for up to 7 years in 84.8% of cases. Long-term results of clinical observations up to 7 years showed an increase in the efficacy of patients’ treatment in 2.6 times at use of subperiosteal implants of new design with oxide or carbon diamond-like coatings, which were installed by one-step method in comparison with the two-stage method.
