In his doctoral thesis provided a comprehensive forensic-medical characteristics of bodily injury of a person resulting from car injuries and identify ways to optimize solutions expert problems. It was found that in cases of contact with pedestrians in an upright position, with cars of modern type revealed new morphological properties of fractures: they cover, as a rule, two-thirds of the length of the bone with possible damage to its epiphysis, are multi-slip and consist of a large number (up to 10-20) fragments. Fractures of bones of the lower extremities of the pedestrian from contact with a bumper of the modern car on morphological features are different from "classical" bumperfractures. Determined not previously described variants of injury to a pedestrian by vehicle body: injury to a pedestrian the front edge of the hood, side of car, rear of the car, as well as injury vehicle pedestrian, located in the "atypical" situation. A separate classification of Bicycle injury is proposed. New variants of injury of the person lying on a road surface – traumatizing by bottom part of the car and the combined contact – traumatizing by wheels and the bottom of the car are defined. Developed and implemented a special classification of traumatic effects on the human body wheels and the bottom of the car. It is established that morphological features of injuries of the driver and passengers in salon of the modern car significantly differ from those in cars of old designs due to use of special means of safety of the driver and passengers of the car. At the same time, the safety of the driver and passengers of the car themselves are traumatic objects that can cause serious damage, possibly up to death. Based on the morphological features of the injuries of the driver and passengers of the front seat in the cabin of a modern car, the mechanisms of injury that have not been previously described - injury as a result of contact of the car with a pedestrian (pedestrians) and injury caused exclusively by defects in the road surface. A detailed classification of the types and conditions of tipping the car. The modern definition of the concept of "automobile injury" is given, its modern classification is developed, it is essentially changed and added with new types and subspecies of automobile injury.
