Essay

The object of research is the communicative behavior of subjects of conflict discourse. The aim of research is a comprehensive linguistic description of conflict communicative situations, reflected in the Ukrainian fiction of the 20th – the beginning of the 21st centuries. The research methods are as follows: description, contextual interpretation, discourse analysis, linguistic modeling, dialogic interpretation of the text, conversation analysis. The scientific novelty of research: for the first time the basis of research is a comprehensive study of conflict discourse on the principles of modern linguistic branches; the phenomenon of conflict is distinguished from related concepts of intense communication; conflict situations are analyzed as a moderated communicative game with a certain scenario of development; the means of aggression are described at verbal and non-verbal levels; types of linguistic personality are classified depending on emotional states, strategy in the conflict discourse, communicative role, gender and psychological traits, direct or indirect involvement in communicative confrontation. The practical significance of the research: its results can be used while teaching courses on general and pragmalinguistics, the speech communication theory, special courses on the discourse theory, text and cognitive linguistics.
