Essay

The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations of formation, functioning and development of institutional and infrastructural support of financial services on the securities market, elaboration of practical recommendations for increasing its efficiency and transparency in Ukraine. The author revealed the meaning of financial assets trading as a sphere of economic relations that arise between its participants in the process of realization of their financial interests and optimization of the influence of financial risks. Also, the author characterized material and social content of financial assets trading and determined its functions. The author concluded that financial assets’ trading is a financial service that mediates the relations between producer and consumer of economic goods. The institutional environment of the securities market was investigated, and the level of functioning of its institutions was selected. It was proved that institutes direct the activity of securities market participants in the appropriate direction, weakening uncertainty, making activity on the securities market more predictable. The author formulated the definition of the legal frameworks as a set of relations on the securities market, which are formalized in the legal norm, the perception of society controlled by the state, and provided with appropriate coercion. The necessity of taking into account national mentality and institutional trust in the process of research of the institutional field of the securities market was proved. The analysis of the activity of financial intermediation institutions on the securities market was carried out.
