Essay

The thesis has systematically analyzed the integral turn of modern philosophical thought, on the basis of which the complementarity of its cultural and anthropological turns is grounded. This has shaped the new direction of philosophical and anthropological research, namely, complex formations on the basis of philosophical and anthropological generalization. The dissertation has justified theoretical methodological principles of the study of integral turn of anthropological philosophy, has revealed categorial framework, which is the base of integral philosophical anthropology. The author has analyzed and revealed theoretical and practical preconditions and consequences of the integral turn in philosophy for the determination of the prospects of personal self-improvement. The author has further analyzed the anthropological foundation of the crisis of human civilization. The dissertation has revealed the functional potential of the concept of integrity in the framework of philosophical anthropological analysis and has disclosed an axiological aspect of the integral turn of philosophical thought. The thesis has justified that meta-anthropology has transformed from static theory into dynamic one in the scopes of integral turn of philosophical thought. As a result, problem domain of philosophical thought is expanding as well as possibility of verification of its conceptual constructions. It has been clarified that metaphoricity of the turn, that is widely used in self-description of anthropologically oriented philosophical thought, fixes the moments of differentiation and integration of humanities and particularity of human being.
