Glebova N. Specificity of social competence of water transport specialists in the conditions of the modern labor market

The thesis is devoted to the sociological conceptualization of social competence of a specialist as a factor in the development of new models of professionalism in the conditions of the modern labor market. The foundations of a sociological study of social competence, skills, abilities and attitudes of interpersonal and group interaction are systematically disclosed. The structural levels of identifying its features, the dynamics of development and promising areas for improvement are determined. The social nature of the roles and content of the behavioral strategies of water transport experts has been elucidated, the parameters of social competence have been empirically identified, and the results of studying have been outlined. The interrelation of successful self-realization of a specialist with the level of social competence is substantiated, the means of improving the programs of its formation in the modern conditions of professional education and the modern labor market are specified.
