Essay

In the research, substantive theoretical and applied achievements of Ukrainian and foreign Linguodidactics, Philosophy, Psychology and Psycholinguistics on the issue of forming a linguistic personality of senior pupils is generalized. Competence-based, communicative-and-activity, student-based and text-centered approaches are deemed to be the linguodidactic foundations for forming a linguistic personality of a senior pupil at Ukrainian lessons (specialization level). A distinguished communicative-and-genre approach is construed as a linguodidactic approach within a framework of the basic communicative-and-activity one, which envisages language acquisition from the perspective of speech genres, acquiring communicatively significant genres systematically, focusing one’s attention on content-and-compositional, linguostylistical peculiarities of genres in their interconnection, forming one’s own utterances of different genres appropriate to the communicative situations, thus reflecting an important aspect of forming subject and key communicative competences. It is substantiated, that forming the students’ creative interest and enhancing the efficiency of the educational process is enabled by the complex implementation of forms, methods and instruments of teaching subjected to the educational and developmental goal of the lesson and aims at forming linguistic personalities of pupils. It is proved, that the content peculiarities of the autonomous work in Ukrainian of the learners of specialized classes as a form of cognitive activities and one of the prerequisites for forming a linguistic personality and both subject and key competences of the learners of specialized classes is its integration into the arrangement, but for the linguistic competence, specialization of the respective tasks. The results of the experimental-and-research study prove the efficiency of the presented methodology for forming a linguistic personality of a senior pupil at Ukrainian lessons (specialization level).
