Skokova L. Cultural practices in modern society: theoretical approaches and empirical dimensions

The research investigated cultural practices in the perspective of modern theoretical approaches to their study and applied aspects of analysis of their deployment in the everyday life of different groups of society. The conceptual resources of cultural sociology, practicе-theoretical approaches, sociology of culture and applied technologies of data’s collection and interpretation for multidimensional vision of cultural practices are explored. A picture of dynamic configurations is examined in the area of cultural practices of citizens in Ukrainian society. The research carried out a holistic generalized conceptualization of theoretical and empirical approaches to the study of cultural practices in modern society, which is verified in studies of cultural participation of various socio-cultural groups of the population of Ukraine.
