Object: process of professional training of future teachers of higher education in institutions of higher education; The purpose: to substantiate the theoretical and practical principles of the scientific and methodical system of professional teacher training of high school teachers to the design of didactic systems in the conditions of the magistracy and an experimental verification of its influence on the level of their professional training in a higher education institution; methods: systematic analysis of scientific literature, modeling, structured observation, conversation, pedagogical experiment, questioning, testing, analysis, ranking, correlation analysis, expert review; Novelty: the author's scientific-methodical system of preparation of high school teachers for the design of didactic systems in the conditions of the master's degree has been developed and its effectiveness has been experimentally verified; the possibility of integrating modern approaches to the design of the teaching staff under study is theoretically grounded; the essence of the concept "training of high school teachers for the design of didactic systems in the conditions of the magistracy", the system of indicators and criteria of the quality of the investigated system, which are built into a two-dimensional matrix model; the further development of the provision on the quality of the training of future high school teachers to the design of didactic systems in the conditions of the magistracy, which is determined by the process of improving design skills through project research, the use of a complex of electronic learning tools, creating a supportive creative environment; The educational-methodical complex, an electronic textbook on the discipline "Didactic Systems in Higher School" for the masters of the educational program "Higher Education Pedagogy" was developed.
