Momot O. Transnational banking capital in the financial system of Ukraine: theory, methodology and practice of regulation

The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the functioning of transnational banking capital and the justification of practical recommendations for regulating its impact on the financial system of Ukraine. In the work the genesis and the economic nature of transnational banking capital are investigated. The decomposition of components of transnational banking capital was performed. The criterias of transnational banking capital’s classification are expanded. The functional purpose of transnational banking capital is illuminated. The author has developed the methodological approaches to the study of transnational banking capital in the financial system. The agglomerations of transnational banking capital in the financial systems of different countries of the world are identified. The strategic alternatives to the intervention of transnational banking capital in the financial system of the country are described. A retrospective analysis of the intervention of transnational banking capital on the financial system of Ukraine has been completed. The determinants of the competitiveness of banks in the context of the intervention of transnational banking capital are identified. The openness of the financial system of Ukraine to transnational banking capital is appreciated.
