Essay

The object of research: biotechnical processes in «green structures» of buildings and their impact on the ecological state of the environment of urban ecosystems and the biosphere. Scientific novelty of the results: for the first time, a mathematical model for the development of a transformed «green roof» ecosystem has been created; first a method has been developed for the experimental determination of thermal resistance and the «cooling effect» of the plant layer; the concept of sustainable development of urban ecosystems was improved by introducing «green structures» into the «green construction» system; an improved method has been created for predicting and estimating the level of CO2 sequestration by biomass of «green structures»; the interpretation of the «cooling effect» of plants was further developed. The practical significance of the results: the scientific and practical problem of the development of the scientific and methodological basis for the implementation of effective «green structures» in «green building» has been solved; the «Draft recommendations on the introduction of green structures» in the «green construction» of Ukraine has been created; a draft map has been developed for introducing «green structures» into cities with compacted low-rise buildings to replenish the biodiversity of the phytocenosis and avifauna; energy efficient, economical construction of a «green roof» has been developed; a method has been developed to control the arrival of solar radiation using «green constructions»; a methodology has been developed for experimental studies of the thermal characteristics of the plant layer on «green structures»; the results were implemented in the leading construction organizations involved in green building, as well as in the educational process of Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
