The research is focused on methodical approaches of teaching future artists in decorative and applied art on the basis of ethnographic design and information technologies. Theoretical and methodological principles of modern professional artistic education in the system of pedagogical science are considered through the prism of integration of knowledge in the context of artistic perception, modern integrative pedagogical concepts and the role of information technologies in this process. There were observed and described theoretical foundations of gaining knowledge, designing and acquiring skills, as well as defining scientific approaches in structuring and designing of teaching methods. Pedagogical design is considered as a modern didactic direction in the training of future specialists in the artistic and design direction. The conceptual principles of the artistic and design training of future artists of decorative and applied art are described in the context of the training of specialists in arts and crafts. They are assumed as an important part of the system of artistic education and the ethnographic aspect of national creativity. Ethnographic design and art design are highlighted as theoretical foundations and methodological principles for the training of future artists of decorative and applied arts. The conceptual foundations of pedagogical modeling for application of computer technology into ethnographic design curricula for future artists of decorative and applied art, structural elements of pedagogical modeling and methodology of schooling based on information technologies, as well as ways, methods and conditions of introduction IT technologies for teaching ethno-designers, artists of decorative and applied art. There are considered theoretical and general principles of incorporation computer technologies to education in artistic-designing direction as a prerequisite for learning of IT designing. The methodical aspects of teaching students to solve problems of ethnographic design by means of computer graphics are analyzed; stages of preparation of students for communication interaction on the basis of electronic resources are presented. Through experimental and experimental verification, the effectiveness of the developed methodology of teaching the ethnographic design of future artists of decorative and applied art on the basis of information technologies has been confirmed. The practical meaning of the study outcomes lies in developing of the content and teaching methods that are grounded on IT - technologies, aiming to educate future art designers and crafts. It means in particular, elaborating of training guidelines, forming educational support and didactic conditions by means of inclusive scholastic content based on ethnic traditions and sustainable development approaches.
