Determination of future teachers' readiness for the study of writers' biographies is offered like the internal explained ability to decide professional tasks adequately on the basis of interdisciplinary knowledge combination about essence and components of person's life, features of their perception by students, special abilities and skills, ethical and professional qualities. The author of the thesis "Forming of future foreign literature teachers' professional readiness for the study of writer' biographies at secondary comprehensive school" has scientifically substantiated the methodical system of future foreign literature teachers' preparation for the students' study of foreign writers' biographies and the technology of forming their readiness for the marked type of a professional activity. The dissertation proves the subject of teachers' professional readiness for students' study of foreign writers' biographies and theoretical principles of its formation. Principles of preparation of students are offered: the systematic character of studies, active cognitive activity, personality-oriented studies, a combination of psycho-pedagogical and axiological principles of preparation, its practical orientation, integration of interdisciplinary knowledge. The efficiency of use of anthropological, personality-oriented, competent, technological, axiological and conceptual approaches in teaching students is definitely proved in the methodology of the author, the implementation of the authorial system of exercises and tasks, that form the readiness of a future teacher of literature to recognize situated in biographies and works of writers professionally meaningful information (of ethic, artistic, public character), effective selection, interpretations and designs of biographic materials in a report, tasks for students, the аxiosphere of literary lesson; to use innovative pedagogical technologies in the presentation of writer's biography.
