The dissertation is relevant to the study of the possibilities of the maternal and fetal heart rate variability usage at all stages of management in pre-eclamptic women in a three-stage system. It has been shown that pre-eclampsia is featured by sympathetic overactivity, vascular spasm and reduced cardiac output influenced by an increased intraabdominal pressure. The deterioration of utero-placental circulation was found to decrease the penetration of maternal respiratory sinus arrhythmia through placental barrier in women with a hypokinetic type of central maternal hemodynamics. These events captured the development of maternal multiple organ failure and fetal distress. The usage of variables of autonomic balance improved the predictive value of traditional screening for pre-eclampsia by 4.5 times The application of combined pharmaceutical prophylactics has contributed to the reduction of pre-eclampsia by 8,25 times. The additional screening at 26-28 weeks of pregnancy included maternal heart rate variability parameters made the selection of contingent for preterm delivery more reasonable.
