Essay

The thesis deals with the study of peculiarities of changes in the processes of lipoperoxidation and antioxidant defense, proteinase-inhibitor system in the bronchi and lungs, functional state of the cellular and humoral immunity, cytokinogenesis, endogenous intoxication, nitric oxide system in the blood, pathomorphological disorders in the lungs and bronchi in the dynamic of experimental bronchial asthma development before and after using the drug thiotriazoline. The violations of immune and metabolic processes in the dynamic of the development of asthma, which was most pronounced in the late period (26th and 33rd days) has been established under condition of this allergic pathology. Our results of research indicate the development of oxidative stress, stimulation of humoral immunity, proteolytic processes and the growth of degree of endogenous intoxication, arginase activity of lymphocytes, the activity of inducible NO synthase, pro-inflammatory cytokines on the background of significant inhibition of cellular immunity, antiproteinase potential, activity of antioxidant enzymes, anti-inflammatory cytokine, endothelial NO synthase, morphological changes in bronchi and lungs, especially on the 33rd day of the formation of experimental asthma against control. Administrarion of thiotriazoline caused a marked antioxidant, immuno-modulating action on disturbed immune and metabolic processes under condition of experimental asthma formation and can be applied in further scientific and research work and in educational process.
