Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the search for biologically active compounds among the N- and C8-substituted and condensed xanthine derivatives. Methods for obtaining 8-aminoxanthines by the reaction of 8-bromo-xanthines with benzylamine, amino alcohols, secondary heterocyclic amines were studied. Acute, chronic toxicity, specific activity of 1-[7-(2-hydroxyethyl-1)-3-methylxanthin-8-yl]piperazine chloride, which, according to biological screening, exhibits hypotensive activity, were studied. A tablet dosage form technology was developed, and proposed project of quality control methods for the substance and dosage form «Oxypiperoxane».
