Furdychko A. Clinical and experimental reasoning of complex treatment and prevention of diseases periodontium in patients with hepatobiliary pathology

On the background of experimental hepatobiliary pathology inflammatory and dystrophic-inflammatory processes in the periodontal tissues develop, as evidenced by the activation of proteolysis, peroxide lipid oxidation in the gums, and a decrease in the mineralizing activity in the bone tissue of the periodontium of experimental animals. As a result of experimental studies revealed the highest therapeutic and prevention effect of the polyfunctional medicine "Lekvin", which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, membrane-protecting, antidisbiotic and hepatoprotective activity, which gave grounds for its further clinical study. It was investigated that in patients with diseases of hepatobiliary tract, inflammatory disease of the periodontium the clinical course heavier than in persons without the specified pathology. Particularly high index rates were in patients with chronic toxic hepatitis and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. Our studies have shown that the clinical course of inflammatory diseases of the periodontіum, in patients with the harmful habits (tobacco and drug addiction) is associated with the degree of clinical and laboratory activity of liver damage. The conducted clinical, biochemical and biophysical studies showed the high therapeutic effectiveness of polyfunctional antidisbiotic medication when used in the complex treatment of patients with inflammatory diseases of the periodontium on the background of pathology of the hepatobiliary system.
