Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of important scientific and applied problem concerning development of theoretical-methodological formation bases of the dominant development strategy for interregional economic cooperation. Refined essence of the concept of "interregional economic cooperation" and described its content. The scientific approaches and the international experience of development strategy formation for interregional economic cooperation have been summarized. Preconditions for the development of interregional economic cooperation in Ukraine have been analysed. The problems of the modern development of interregional economic cooperation in Ukraine have been investigated and trends of its development have been identified. The methodological support for evaluating the effectiveness of interregional economic cooperation as a precondition for the formation of a dominant development strategy has been improved. The essence of the dominant development strategy for interregional economic cooperation and approaches to its formation have been substantiated. The procedure of formation and implementation of the dominant development strategy for interregional economic cooperation, its organizational support have been developed. The institutional basis for the implementation of the dominant development strategy for interregional economic cooperation has been formed. A scenario-based approach to the implementation of the dominant development strategy for interregional economic cooperation have been developed, a discursive frame for monitoring its implementation has been formed.
