Essay

The basic parameters of theoretical understanding of the phenomenon and the concept of "political will" are investigated. The evolution of the doctrine of political will in the history of world and Ukrainian socio-political thought is covered. The methodology and basic parameters of practical implementation of political will are determined, the possibilities and limits of its application in state-making activity are determined. The connection of the phenomenon of political will with the problems of personal freedom, free will, freedom of choice, arbitrariness, voluntarism is considered; its dependence on the type of political regime, political consciousness and culture is traced.
