Holovko K. Ukrainian Municipal Legislation’s Systematization: Theory and Practice

The study solves the scientific problem of the comprehensive systematization of the Ukrainian municipal legislation both at the national and local levels through the application of incorporation, consolidation and codification, with the aim of further leading to the structural and logical ordering of its acts and increasing its accessibility. Systematization of the Ukrainian municipal legislation is to bring to a structural and logical order the provisions of national normative-legal acts (Constitution of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine and by-laws) and international treaties, the consent of which is provided by the Parliament, which regulate public relations connected with local self-government. Bringing the legislation to structural order is to consolidate the legal acts included in the municipal legislation of Ukraine, as well as to arrange the documents in chronological, alphabetical, substantive order.
