Object - the process of formation and provision of transition to sustainable development of rural territories of Ukraine as integral socio-ecological-economic systems in the context of decentralization of power; purpose - development and substantiation of theoretical and methodological and methodological foundations of sustainable development of rural territories in the conditions of decentralization of power in accordance with the targets of implementation of reforms and strategic priorities of the national economy; methods - fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, theories of complex systems, economics of nature management, economic security of the state, regional economy, concept of sustainable development, public administration, institutional and neo-institutional theories, leading schools of economic science on the problems of natural resources assessment, natural resource potential, natural resource potential environmental management and environmental policy; novelty - first developed a theoretical concept of rural development using a systematic approach, within which the directions of their changes, in particular the main elements based on the totality of values ​​of indicators, the ability to stimulate transformation, the reliability of the system, the ability of its individual components to interact with others to accelerate change and development ; results - development and substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations, methodological provisions and practical recommendations for transition to sustainable development of rural territories of Ukraine in the conditions of decentralization of power in order to achieve European standards of quality and standard of living against the background of resource constraints; implemented in economic practice.
