Object of study: socio-economic processes of functioning of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services of regions. Objective: To develop and substantiate theoretical and methodological foundations and practical recommendations for the formation and implementation of regional policy of development of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services in the conditions of decentralization of power. Methods: logical generalization, synthesis, analysis, induction and deduction, comparative, abstract-logical, structural-functional, factorial, economic-statistical, analytical, graphical, graphical-analytic, cartographic, absolute and relative quantities, analysis and decomposition, generalization characteristics and averaging of rank scales, forecasting, cluster, taxonomic, correlation-regression, strategic and structural-functional analysis. Novelty: for the first time the concept of "regional policy of development of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services" as a system of goals, administrative-organizational, economic, legal methods and means, as well as concerted actions of state, regional and local self-government bodies on their realization, methodological bases of formation of regional policy of development of sphere of sanatorium and resort services on an innovative basis is defined, the system of measures of regional policy of development of sphere of sanatorium and resort of the region on long-term perspective is proposed; scientific and methodological support of the processes of increasing the competitiveness of sanatorium and resort services in the regions, definition of the concept of development of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services taking into account the social and economic conditions of the regions and features of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services, scientific and methodological provisions regarding the study of resorts of health services, methodical approach to the evaluation of the efficiency of the provision of sanatorium and resort services, directions of activation of the development of the sphere of sanatorium and resorts services are improved. Scope: in the activities of the Committee on Family, Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in drafting bills in the context of regulating the development of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services, Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration during the development of economic and social strategy development in the region, regional programs of development of the sphere of sanatorium and resort services, Department of Tourism and Resorts of Lviv Regional State Administration, in the educational process of Vinnytsya Institute of MAUP in teaching the disciplines "Management","Marketing", "Regional Economics", "Entrepreneurship", "Personnel Management".
