Pukish A. Scientific and practical fundamentals of environmental protection during the development of oil and gas fields of Ukraine at the final stage

The relevant scientific and practical task of minimizing the environmental impact of oil and gas fields at the final stage of development was solved in the thesis by developing measures for environmental protection. The possibility of long-term environmental impact after completion of oil and gas fields development, decommissioning and/or liquidation of oil and gas complex objects was justified. Hydrochemical relationship between reservoir and natural fresh surface and groundwater due to the exploitation of the oil and gas field was determined by calculating the values of pairwise correlation between the water-soluble ions characteristic of the reservoir water and the “background” freshwater. Regression dependences were determined between the main ions in saline and non-saline soils, which made it possible to make scientific fundamentals for the development of the desalinizing method of soils that were contaminated with reservoir waters with the use of magnesium sulfate solution during the reclamation works.
