Diatlova Y. Mechanism of the banking sector development in Ukraine in the context of competitive internalization

The object of study is the process of development of the banking sector in the context of competitive internationalization. The purpose of the work is to substantiate theoretical provisions, methodological foundations, methodological approaches and scientific and practical recommendations on transformation of the mechanism of development of the banking sector of Ukraine in the conditions of competitive internationalization. Research methods: system-structural analysis; evolutionary approach, abstract-logical analysis and systematization method; comparison and generalization; grouping; structural and functional analysis and classification; statistical, graphical and regression analysis; mathematical modeling and calculation, system analysis, abstraction and formalization; cluster analysis, logical generalization. Scientific novelty is the development of theoretical and methodological foundations, the development of scientific and methodological provisions and scientific and applied recommendations for the formation of a mechanism for regulating the development of the banking sector in a competitive environment. For the first time: the theoretical basis of competitive internationalization in the banking sector is substantiated; proposed theoretical and methodological approach to the development of the banking sector; a methodological approach to researching the development of the banking sector under conditions of competitive internationalization has been formed. Improved: scientific understanding of trends and factors in the development of the banking sector in terms of increasing the presence of foreign banks in the banking sectors of countries; methodical approach to the assessment of competitive conditions of the banking sector development; scientific approach to macroprudential regulation in the context of competitive internalization as a system; analytical support for the development of the banking sector in the context of competitive internationalization; structural and logical model of a comprehensive system for ensuring the economic security of the banking sector; a methodical approach to assessing the development of the banking sector; directions of transformation of the mechanism of development of the banking sector in the conditions of competitive internationalization. There was further development: a scientific and methodological approach to assessing the economic security and financial stability of the banking sector; analytical support to the management of economic security and financial stability of the banking sector in the context of competitive internationalization; structural elements of the Strategy as a tool for developing the banking sector of Ukraine.
