The thesis is devoted to solving the actual scientific and applied problem of creating methodological bases of formation of dimensional parameters of book editions in the united production information environment in the printing houses with computer-integrated management of the printing processes in concept «Industry 4.0» are formed. The mathematical models and algorithms for calculating areas of neighboring inks of circular, square, rhombic and ellipse forms of raster elements with given dimensions of their sizes depending of precision color register and, therefore, using the Neuberg-Neigebauer equations, we proceed directly to the calculation of the color coordinates of separate sections of the raster imprint by printing «point to point» as the most effective way to correct moiré have been proposed. The new way of controlling and management the accuracy of color register and positioning of imprints has been developed, which also significantly simplifies printing technology «point to point» and improves the integration efficiency of the printing proc-esses with the processes to adjustment on format of the folding machines and creats the prerequisites to building an system automated control of the accuracy of the jogging of the printed sheets on the joggers. The analysis of the accuracy of determining the number of sheets in a stack by counting weights at Polar Mohr jogger has been carried out. The way of the automation to adjustment on the format of the sheet delivery de-vices in gathering machines with use of artificial neural networks and the choice of its best architecture has been proposed. The five-level hierarchical model for estimation and regulating the quality of book editions by the accuracy of dimensional parameters and the information models of work-flow of their manufacturing technology and the method of calculation of the resulting errors in the location on folding marks on the back signature have been developed. The multilevel computer-integrated system control of printing production is substantiated based on choice a hardware and software platform of automation for printing equipments, which significantly speeds up to entry to form «Industry 4.0» has been developed.
