Essay

The dissertation presents the theoretical generalization and new solution of scientific problem, as regards of immuno-cytokine, necrotic-apoptotic disorders, oxidative stress in the mechanisms of structural-degenerative and inflammatory-dystrophic changes in the periodontal complex for experimental periodontitis and an effects of quercetin in their correction. On the basis of studies and assessments of cellular innate immunity disorders, necrosis-apoptotic changes in neutrophilic granulocytes and free-radical and peroxide oxidation of proteins and lipid, antioxidant, structural restructuring of the periodontal tissuel complex was obtained data regarding to the mechanisms of gradual development of experimental bacterial-immune periodontitis, which depended on the dominance in the mechanisms formation bacterial or immune components, phase imbalance of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines: TNF-α, IL 1β and IL-4, IL-10. Consistent development of structural-degenerative and inflammatory-dystrophic disorders in the periodontiun with remodeling of the components of the histohematic barrier, formation of granulomatouse tissue was determined. Quercetin promotes normalization of the structural organization of periodontal tissues, stabilization and recovery of the inflammation.
