Kudin S. Comparative history of law: the domestic tradition of conceptualization

The scientific literature is classified according to the presence or absence of special scientific developments in which the views of scientists were studied in connection with the formation and development of the domestic tradition of conceptualization of the comparative history of law, as well as the completeness of coverage of the views of domestic scientists on the essence of comparative history of law. The possibility of comprehending the domestic tradition as a truly existing diversity and the variety of its variants, which reflected the interpretation of the subject matter and methodology of the comparative history of law, included the peculiarities of their comparative-historical legal studies, were proved. It is characterized by unity, which is the result of the integration of objective-historical dynamics of variants and their complementarity, which are correlated as ‘different’ in the presence of ‘universal’ and ‘unique’, that ensures the integrity of the domestic tradition as a system of views of domestic scientists.
