Revko A. Socio-humanitarian space and its impact on the development of regional economic systems

The thesis developed theoretical and methodological principles, scientific and practical recommendations on the impact of the modernization of the socio-humanitarian space of the region on the development of regional economic systems. The existing theoretical approaches to the formation of the socio-humanitarian space of the region and the retrospective trends in the development of social infrastructure in its composition are systematized. The author’s definitions have been submitted: “socio-humanitarian space of the region”, “social infrastructure of the region”, “human-centrism”, “laws of transformation of the socio-humanitarian space of the region”, “public-private partnership of social infrastructure”, “social entrepreneurship” and “inclusive spatial development”. The methodological basis for assessing the impact of the socio-humanitarian space on the modernization of the productive forces of the regions of Ukraine is proposed. The development trends of the educational-medical and cultural-cultural infrastructure are investigated, the praxeological dimension of the functioning of the socio-humanitarian space is determined, and the regions of Ukraine and the voivodships of the Republic of Poland are ranked by the level of social stratification. The role of the educational component of the social infrastructure in the development of social entrepreneurship in some European countries is justified and the organizational foundations of the public-private partnership of the social infrastructure of the social and humanitarian space are revealed. The dissertation candidate outlined the institutional mechanism for the formation of a new socio-humanitarian space in the region under decentralized management and a spatial model for the modernization of the components of social infrastructure in the context of the reforms launched. The strategic foundations for the modernization of the social infrastructure of the regions of Ukraine are proposed taking into account the inclusion criteria and a management model for the modernization of the social infrastructure of the region is identified.
