The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodological bases and development of practical recommendations on formation of innovative development of transport branch of region in system of multimodal transportations and strategy of its realization in the conditions of integration with the European space. The organizational and economic aspects of the functioning of the transport sector of the region in the system of multimodal transportation are revealed. The methodological tools for assessing the activities of transport enterprises in the region have been developed and the system of indicators and criteria for a comprehensive analysis of the management of innovative development of the transport industry in the system of multimodal transportation has been deepened.
