Object of research: state regulation of financial security. Purpose: development of theoretical and methodological foundations to substantiate and formulate conceptual directions for improving state regulation of financial security of the Ukrainian economy. Methods: sociological, hypothetical-deductive, the formation of the methodology of dissertation research, deductive proof of the proposed research hypothesis, structural-functional analysis, statistical, theoretical-conceptual, systems approach. Results: substantiated theoretical and methodological problems of state regulation and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of state regulation of financial security of the Ukrainian economy. Novelty: formulated and scientifically substantiated methodological approaches to the formation of a strategy for improving the system of mechanisms of state regulation of financial security of the Ukrainian economy; proposed theoretical approaches to the development of mechanisms of state regulation of financial security of Ukraine; formulated conceptual directions of development of the system of ensuring state regulation of financial security of Ukraine as a process of successive passage of four phases associated with factors of economic security of the financial system of the state; the directions of adaptation of the best world experience in the field of state regulation of financial security were improved in terms of bringing the expediency of fixing the maximum indicators of economic security in national legislation; mechanism of state regulation of financial security; approaches to the institutional mechanism of state regulation of the main components of assessing the effectiveness of state financial control; received further development: a system of measures for the complete information support of the state regulation mechanism on the basis of a nationwide electronic information system; improving the organizational mechanism of state regulation of financial control, and the formation of economic quality; the conceptual apparatus of state administration by clarifying the definitions of "state financial control", "state regulation of financial security of Ukraine", "state regulation of economic security". Introduced into activities: by the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the Office of Large Taxpayers of the State Tax Service of Kiev, the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Kiev region, the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine. Fields of application: state administration bodies, local authorities and self-government bodies, public organizations.
