The study is dedicated to the scientific-methodological and practical solution of a set of issues on the subject of the development and functioning of the infrastructure of the financial and credit market in Ukraine. The dissertation identifies new methodological approaches to the development of financial and credit market infrastructure. Theoretical principles of financial and credit market infrastructure functioning are methodized. The categorical apparatus is generalized, specified and elaborated. The genesis of scientific views on the development of the financial market is revealed. The classification of financial market functions has been accomplished. The essence and peculiarities of the functioning of the financial and credit market are substantiated.
